What If You Didn’t Pause Everything Just Because Life Got Full?
Let me guess.
You started the year with some goals.
Nothing over-the-top—just intentions to feel more like you:
✨ Move your body.
🧠 Think more clearly.
🌿 Maybe finally follow through on that idea that’s been tugging at you.
But then came May.
And with it came permission slips, award ceremonies, exams, group texts about snacks, and let’s be real… hormones, chaos, and that random pile of stuff on the kitchen counter that’s multiplying like a science experiment.
So you did what most responsible, pulled-in-a-thousand-directions women do.
You moved your stuff off the plate.
You whispered, “I’ll get back to it when things calm down.”
Here’s what I want to gently say:
Things don’t calm down.
Not for long, anyway.
And if we only ever move forward when life feels clear and clean and perfectly timed, we’ll spend most of our lives waiting… and re-starting.
🙋♀️ The Hidden Cost of Hitting Pause
It feels kind to take a break from your goals when things get wild.
And sometimes it is.
But what I see over and over (in my own life and in coaching women like you) is this:
We’re not just taking a break.
We’re unplugging from the very things that help us feel grounded.
We’re putting ourselves in a cycle of starting over. Again. And again.
And that’s where burnout creeps in—not from doing too much, but from restarting too many times.
🪴 A New Question: What’s One Thing You Can Keep Going?
What if instead of pausing everything, you stayed connected to just one thing?
One practice.
One action.
One tiny front-burner habit that says: “Hey, I haven’t forgotten me.”
It could be:
A 10-minute walk before you check your phone.
Drinking water first before the coffee (okay, with the coffee).
Journaling one sentence at night.
Saying “yes” to a conversation that re-centers you.
📣 This Isn’t a Hustle Pep Talk
I’m not here to say do more.
I’m here to ask: What’s one thing that would help you stay anchored?
Because you matter, even when the calendar is full.
Especially then.
You don’t have to wait for summer break or a new planner or a miracle lull.
You just need one thing to stay in motion. One ember to keep warm.
So let me ask you…
💬 What’s your one thing this week?
Tell me in the comments, or send me a message—I’d love to hear it.
And if you’re tired of starting over and want a rhythm that actually works for your real life, I’ve got space for two more 1:1 coaching clients this month. Let’s talk. 👉
You’re not behind. You’re just in motion.
Let’s keep you there.
